Mia Farrow Says Her Son's Father May Be Frank Sinatra, Not Woody Allen

The journalist who interviewed Mia Farrow 20 years ago in the wake of the sexual abuse case involving Woody Allen and their adopted daughter, reconnected with the star to talk about her humanitarian work, her kids, and a bombshell revelation about her son's biological father.

Maureen Orth on Wednesday talked to Today show's Matt Lauer about the Vanity Fair exclusive and what she learned about Allen and Farrow's biological son Ronan Farrow: He may actually the son of Frank Sinatra, who Farrow was married to for two years when she was 21 and he was 50.

"I asked her point blank," Orth told Matt Lauer on the Today show. " I said 'Is Ronan Frank Sinatra's son?' and she said 'Possibly.'"

There was no DNA test to prove the relationship, Orth said, but Farrow and Sinatra "never really broke up." Farrow called Sinatra the "love of her life," according to Orth.

Ronan Farrow works as a journalist, activist and lawyer. His response was delivered via Twitter on Wednesday: "Listen, we're all *possibly* Frank Sinatra's son"

Orth also talked about why she decided to interview Farrow again.

"There was so much out there at the time," Orth said, referring to the sex scandal and Allen's subsequent marriage to another one of Farrow's adopted daughters, Soon-Yi. "And I thought, a lot of time has passed, it's a good time to catch up."

After her divorce from pianist Andre Previn, Farrow and Allen started a relationship and adopted two children. Ronan was born in 1987.

The pair split after Farrow discovered that Allen was having an affair with her oldest adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn. A messy custody battle for Allen and Farrow's three children ensued, during which Farrow accused him of molesting Ronan's sister Dylan.

Allen continues to deny those allegations, according to Vanity Fair.

Dylan, who now goes by another name, spoke out for the first time since the scandal and told Orth that she never says her father's name.

“I’m scared of him, his image.” Dylan tells Orth, “I have never been asked to testify. If I could talk to the seven-year-old Dylan, I would tell her to be brave, to testify.”
