2 Ventura County Teens Found Safe: Sheriff

    Nicholas Marino, 13, and Kaylee Rebert, 14, were both reported missing from their Thousand Oaks homes in the early morning of Thursday, April 4, 2013.

    Two teens reported missing have been found safe, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

    Nicholas Marino, 13, and Kaylee Rebert, 14, were found at 2:25 p.m. Friday in the Thousand Oaks community of Newbury Park, VCSD Captain Jerry Hernandez said.

    The teens were found safe in a residential neighborhood, Hernandez said.

    Marino and Rebert were reported missing Thursday.

    "Kaylee, we love you and miss you very much. We've never been so concerned for your safety," said the girl's father Dan Rebert at an afternoon news conference. "You're not gonna be in any trouble, Kaylee. We just want you to come home safely."
