At last, forces conspire to bring Mitt Romney and LMFAO's Sky Blu together. The LA rapper said he's the guy who was involved in an altercation with Romney aboard an LAX-bound flight.
In a video on TMZ.com, Blu -- real name: Skyler Gordy -- said he was just trying to get some sleep when he leaned his seat back toward the former Republican presidential contender on the Air Canada flight from Vancouver. He said Romney told him to straighten the seat and grabbed his shoulder with a "condor grip."
Romney and LMFAO (Skyler and Stefan) were flying back from the Olympics in Vancouver. His spokesman said Tuesday that the man seated in front of Romney became "physically violent."
"I see him reach over and grab my shoulder, and I just react boom," Gordy said in the video as he demonstrated his reaction. "I didn't take it any further than that, I just told the man not to touch me."
Mr. Blu was then escorted off the plane.
"Gov. Romney did not retaliate but instead let the airline crew respond to the incident," spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom said.
Romney's spokesman did not comment regarding Sky Blu's comments, according to the Associated Press. He also did not mention whether the duo will get an add to Romney's playlist.
And BTW, LMFAO's Blu said he'd be happy to share a drink with Romney, "If he drinks."
