A manhunt for a suspected killer ended Wednesday, hours after a man allegedly shot his former girlfriend -- a mother of three -- at a Domino’s Pizza in San Bernardino, police said.
Pedro Duquesne, 55, was arrested in connection with the death of Nelly Chi Salazar-Kantun, 39, of Highland.
She died after being shot before noon at Domino’s Pizza in the 1600 block of East Highland Avenue in San Bernardino, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
She was found in a pool of blood outside the front door, officials said.
The two had been arguing before the suspect allegedly went into the store with a pistol and started shooting as onlookers watched in horror, police said.

After the shooting, the suspect nonchalantly walked away, got into his car and drove off, a witness said.
Natalie Rodriguez was with her baby boy, getting her nails done two doors down when she heard the gunfire and scrambled to safety.
After several hours of searching, police arrested Duquesne, seen walking, about five miles away from Domino’s, officials said.
The suspect was caught by a police gang squad acting on a tip, said Lt. Rich Lawhead, of the San Bernardino Police Department.
