Fatal Motorcycle Crash Closes Portion of Mulholland Drive

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene

A portion of Mulholland Drive was shut down in both directions Monday afternoon following a fatal motorcycle crash, according to LAPD.

Mulholland Drive is expected to be closed for hours between Wrightwood Lane and Woodrow Wilson Drive, police said.

As of 7:30 p.m., all units were still on scene, said Officer Karen Rayner with LAPD.

Police received the call around 4 p.m. that a motorcycle had crashed in the 7600 block of Mulholland Drive in the Mt. Olympus area. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
