Forget guard dogs, gun, alarm systems, pepper spray and Tasers -- a Murrieta man stopped his neighbor during an alleged robbery with a little bit of old school gusto.
He used a headlock -- proving once again, that some moves never go out of style.
Daniel Bernal, 32, was in his neighbor's home allegedly rummaging through a purse when his neighbor caught him, said Murrieta police Sgt. Bob Landwehr.
That's when the homeowner put the alleged burglar in a headlock.
The victim held Bernal, who has lived next door for three years, until police took him into custody.
Bernal was arrested and booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary of a home, Landwehr said.
