A 34-year-old nanny was arrested Thursday on suspicion of physically abusing 1-year-old twins in Fontana.
Deputies responded to an unincorporated area of Rialto on Oct. 2 to a report of suspected child abuse, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
An investigation led deputies to Dana Cash, who was employed by the family of the 1-year-old boy and girl. She was contacted by investigators at her home in Yucaipa and later arrested.
Cash was charged with child cruelty and booked into the West Valley Detention Center, officials said.
Authorities don’t believe there are any other suspects in the case.
