The Congressional Medal of Honor is the highest honor presented to military personnel. Only 75 individuals have one who are alive today. Over 3,500 have been presented since its inception when President Abraham Lincoln established it. Today there is a foundation that promotes those same values associated with this honor. Just this week, a West Coast office has opened in Los Angeles to spread the word about their character development program to students in Southern California.
