Special Coverage: Dodgers

[Dodgers 2017 Mainbar] LA Determined: On the Road to World Series Glory After a year of playing lean and mean, and remaining No. 1 in the NL West, the Los Angeles Dodgers are coming back hard to wrap their hands around World Series glory once again in 2018. They led the NL West with 92 wins in the regular season. On Oct. 1, the Dodgers crushed the Colorado Rockies in a tie-breaker game to determine the National League West champ, winning 5–2 to clinch their sixth consecutive division championship. In the National League Division Series opener, with Hyun-jin Ryu, Clayton Kershaw and Walker Buehler at the top of the pitching rotation, the boys in blue crushed the Atlanta Braves 6-0. The Dodgers took the second game, but the Braves forced a fourth game by scooping up a win in the third. While the Dodgers came close in 2017, their last championship was in 1988. Up next is Game 1 of the NL Championship Series, which is expected to feature Clayton Kershaw against likely starter Jhoulys Chacin for the Brewers on Friday, Oct. 12, with first pitch scheduled for 5:09 p.m. PST.
