Three pedestrians were injured after being struck by a vehicle near Alta Loma High School in Rancho Cucamonga Wednesday.

The crash occurred at 2:15 p.m. in the 9000 block of Base Line Road (map), diagonally across the street from the school.

One person sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital, and two others had minor injuries, according to Kelly Donaldson of the San Bernardino County Fire Department. It's not clear if the two victims with minor injuries were hospitalized.

The age and gender of the victims was not available.

The driver stopped, authorities said.

The street was blocked off temporarily, and aerial video showed a tree fallen in the roadway.
