Police Fatally Shoot Male During Alleged Struggle in South LA

    Police shot and killed a male during an "investigative stop" in South Los Angeles on Monday night.

    Officers conducted the stop about 8:20 p.m. in the 200 block of West 65th Street, according to a Los Angeles Police Department news release.

    Officers allegedly got into a struggle with the male and shot him, police said. The male was taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries.

    No officers were hurt.

    No further details were released.
