Attempted Murder Suspect Leads Police on Pursuit in Crenshaw Area

Chase Ends with Arrest in Crenshaw Area

A man wanted for attempted murder out of Las Vegas led police on a brief pursuit before being apprehended in the Crenshaw area on Monday, June 2, 2014.

A man wanted in connection with an attempted murder was in custody Monday morning after leading police officers on a brief pursuit in the Crenshaw area.

The chase started on Venice Boulevard and Cochran Avenue around 10:10 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The driver, out of the Las Vegas area, was arrested after the suspect vehicle lost its front right tire.

Traffic was blocked off at Crenshaw and Jefferson boulevards.

Police said the man was wanted for attempted murder.
