A police pursuit ended in a violent crash in Hollywood Friday night.
At least two people who were traveling in the sought black sedan were transported to the hospital, one of whom was trapped in the car.
The suspect vehicle crashed into a white sport utility vehicle before coming to rest around 10 p.m. on the sidewalk in the intersection of Franklin Street and Cahuenga Boulevard.
Initial reports suggested the driver was wanted on suspicion of felony beating. As many as five people may have been injured in the pursuit, police said.
