Police are searching for a man caught on camera allegedly siphoning gas from vehicles that belong to a company in Corona.
Willie Canahuati of A+ Cleaning said his business has been targeted on at least nine occasions, and even recalls the man returning three consecutive days in a row.
The business recorded surveillance video of the man approaching the business and its vehicles multiple times. The man is sometimes seen carrying a large gas can before walking toward the camera and covering it.
The alleged thief also apparently spray painted one of the surveillance cameras outside of the business.
Canahuati said he hid outside once and confronted the man. He said the man pushed him with his door and fled.
Canahuati tried to obtain the license plate number of the man's truck, but noticed it was covered with paper.
"Somebody knows this guy, and somebody will know what he's been doing and can provide that tip that we need," said Sgt. Brent Nelson of the Corona Police Department.
