Police Search for In-N-Out Robber

Police are searching for a man who robbed an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Simi Valley Friday evening, officials said.

A man wearing a blue and red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans walked up to the drive-thru window in the 2600 block of Stearns Street and handed the employee a note, Simi Valley Police said.

The writing on the note implied the man was armed with a handgun and demanded money, to which the employee at the window complied.

The suspect was described as a Latino man, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and 180 pounds. He is thought to be between in his 20’s or early 30’s, was clean shaven with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Fast food robberies have plagued the Northeast Los Angeles this month. Seven businesses in that area have been robbed and police are attributing those incidents to the same suspect, who wears a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and uses or simulates a blue steel handgun.

Friday’s incident did not immediately appear to be connected to the robberies in Northeast L.A.
