Police Seek Hit-And-Run Driver Who Left Boy With Head Injuries

Victim is listed in stable condition at a local hospital.

Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian in San Jacinto Wednesday evening, leaving the victim with serious head injuries.

A boy was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk near the intersection of Seventh Street and Grand Avenue when he was hit by a car headed eastbound on Seventh just after 5 p.m., according to a statement from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The boy, whose age was not given, was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

The car is described as a white or gray 4-door sedan. The car likely has windshield damage.
