Police Seek Prisoner Who Walked Away From Re-Entry Center

California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials Monday sought public help to find a prisoner who walked away from a re-entry facility in Los Angeles.

Rolando A. Pineda, 21, was discovered missing from the Community Reentry Program facility about 8:20 p.m. Sunday, according to the CDCR.

Pineda is Hispanic, 5-feet-4 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has dark hair and brown eyes. He was was serving a three-year sentence for evading a peace officer while driving recklessly.

He was scheduled to be released to parole supervision on March 4, 2018.

Anyone who sees Pineda or has any knowledge of his whereabouts should immediately contact local law enforcement organization or call 911.
