A 16-year-old girl on her way to school was cut with a knife by two males in Whittier Thursay morning at 7:24 a.m. in an apparent attempted street robbery, police said.
The men approached the girl in a vehicle near the intersection of Colima and Telegraph roads, asked her something and cut her when she attempted to flee, according to an officer with the Norwalk Sheriff station.
The suspects fled in a black, four-door vehicle, officials said.
