Some Post Offices Stay Open Late for Tax Day

    Eleven local post offices are staying open late Tuesday to accommodate last-minute tax filers looking to mail their returns before the deadline.
    In Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties, the following locations will offer extended service, according to the U.S. Postal Service:

    Airport Station

    Los Angeles, CA 90009
    Retail service: midnight
    Mail collection: midnight  

    Industry P&DC
    15421 E. Gale Ave.
    City of Industry, CA 91715
    Retail service: 6 p.m.
    Mail collection: midnight

    Long Beach P&DC
    2300 Redondo Ave.
    Long Beach, CA 90809
    Retail service: 7 p.m.
    Mail collection: midnight

    Los Angeles Post Office
    7001 S. Central Ave.
    Los Angeles, CA 90001
    Retail service: midnight
    Mail collection: midnight

    Pasadena P&DC
    600 Lincoln Ave.
    Pasadena, CA 91109
    Retail service: 10 p.m.
    Mail collection: 10 p.m.

    Santa Ana P&DC

    Retail service: 10 p.m. 

    There are no extended hours in Riverside and Ventura counties, as neither have mail processing facilities, according to the USPS.

    All other retail post offices will follow normal hours of service, according to the USPS. Official hours are available online or by calling 1-800-275-8777.
