A magnitude-3.3 earthquake struck about 6 miles off the coast of San Pedro on Sunday night, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The tremor hit at 7:50 p.m. in the Pacific at a depth of 3.4 miles, the USGS said.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damages.

The quake came on the same day that a 6.0-magnitude quake jolted the Bay Area, leaving dozens of people injured, damaging buildings, igniting fires and knocking out power to tens of thousands.
