4 to Watch: Historic Cars Star in a Presidents Day Parade

A Presidents Day parade starts in Playa Vista, loops through Hollywood, then ends up in the Miracle Mile

A Presidents Day celebration will cover a lot of ground Monday. Starting in Playa Vista and heading to Hollywood before ending up on the Miracle Mile, an eight-car parade will feature rolling history, including a limo used by presidents and astronauts.

How the Petersen Museum Celebrates Presidents Day

With cars, of course. But not just any cars. The museum will roll out eight cars with ties to the presidency and Tinseltown for a parade that begins in Playa Vista, loops through Hollywood and ends up at the Miracle Mile museum. Click here for details and a map.

Waiting It Out: 5 Freeway Closure Strands Drivers North of LA

Some drivers waited for hours as the 5 Freeway was closed north of Los Angeles due to snow and ice. Southbound lanes reopened at about 5 a.m., but the northbound side of the road connecting Southern California with the Central Valley wasn't expected to reopen until around 7 a.m. Click here for updates
