Pursuit Ends After Crash Into Pacoima Home

The pursuit of a stolen car ended Friday afer the driver crashed into a home in Pacoima.

The pursuit began at Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Peoria Street and ended in a multi-vehicle crash when three teens in a white pickup truck landed in the yard of a home shortly after 9 a.m. in the 9800 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard.

Homeowner's surveillance video showed the shocking moments when the white pickup barreled into the intersection, hit a Mercedes Benz and then slammed into the house.

Three teens in the pickup, two boys and one girl, ran out of the car and were arrested for grand theft auto shortly after, police said.

Up to four vehicles were involved in the crash after the Mercedes that was struck slammed into other cars parked on the street.

A total of four people suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The single home occupant, Julianna Rangel, was uninjured, LAFD said.

"The minute it hit, I saw it come through. It moved all of our furniture and I ran out," Rangel said.

The Department of Building and Safety will evaluate the home for possible damage.
