One man was in custody and a woman was at large after a pursuit early Thursday morning in Eagle Rock, authorities said.
Just before 2 a.m., a pursuit ended in a crash at Yosemite Drive and Ellenwood Drive, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Division. A man and a woman in the car were wanted for a stolen vehicle, and fled the scene.
One car was left smashed in the middle of the street, and two other cars were severely damaged left smashed on top of each other. It was not immediately clear how the crash happened, or why the car was on top of the other.
Around 5:30 Thursday morning, the man had been arrested, but there was no information available on the woman who had been in the car, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Northwest Division.
The perimeter was called off Thursday morning, police said.
