Police Searching for Owner of Star Wars Memorabilia

Riverside Police are looking for the real owner of a collection of Star Wars memorabilia after encountering a man who said he just "found" it.

Riverside Police are looking for the rightful owner of a collection of “Star Wars” memorabilia.

Police contacted a man in downtown Riverside on June 18 who was in possession of the collection. Sensing a disturbance in the force, officers were uncertain whether the man, who claimed to have just found the memorabilia, was the real owner.

Detectives confiscated the items and released a photo of what they say is a “very small” sample of the actual collection. Police hope that the real owner of the collection will be able to identify the other items not shown in the photo.

It is unclear how much the collection is worth.
