A treasure trove of rock-and-roll history -- never-before-seen photos, letters and lyrics from the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and more -- has been stored for years. Now, the Southern California woman who was once friends with rock royalty is sharing the items -- which could be the biggest collection of rock memorabilia to be released to the public in decades.

"It was just my life at the time," said Patti Daley, the woman who owns this Rock N Roll treasure.  "They were just our friends, but they were amazing people and the music was magic."

Daley documented a legendary time in pop culture, including the Beatles post-breakup, and  John Lennon's infamous "Lost Weekend."  Experts tell NBCLA that this collection could be historic in nature.

Daley tells her story exclusively to NBC4 in Los Angeles and NBCLA in a series of interviews, beginning Sunday at 9 p.m. PT.
