Hit-and-Run Driver Strikes Three Parked Vehicles in Reseda

Several vehicles were damaged on Tuesday after a hit-and-run driver struck three parked cars in Reseda.

Authorities responded to the crash in the 19000 block of Vanowen Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division.

Two people were seen fleeing the area on foot then getting into another car to leave the scene.

One resident whose car was struck during the hit-and-run said he saw the driver get into another vehicle.

"She crashed, so her friend in a Range Rover tried to make a U-turn and hit the van," witness Chris Lopez said.

Lopez said he was certain the driver of the Range Rover was friends with the driver responsible for the crash because they drove off together.

The driver believed to be responsible for the crash is described as a woman wearing a black shirt and jeans. Officials suspect she may have leg injuries.

She was driving a black BMW when the crash occurred.

No other injuries have been reported.

Officials are investigating the hit-and-run.
