The IRS has undeliverable tax refund checks ready to deliver that the U.S. Postal Service returned because of errors in mailing addresses.
Undeliverable refund checks in Los Angeles, Imperial, Riverside, Orange, San Diego and San Bernardino counties amount to about $10.2 million owed to taxpayers.
Taxpayers can update addresses and check the status of refunds by visiting the "Where's My Refund?" section of the IRS website, or by calling 1-800-829-1954.
Nationwide the IRS says it’s looking for 107,831 taxpayers who are owed a total of about $124 million in refunds.
