A driver lost control of their SUV and slammed into the Laemmle Theater in West Los Angeles early Tuesday morning, but there were no immediate reports of injuries, police said.
The SUV was westbound on Santa Monica Boulevard near Colby Avenue about 5:30 a.m. when it careened onto the sidewalk and hit the theater, the Los Angeles Police Department said. A light pole was also damaged.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
The building did not appear to sustain heavy damage.
The driver was not arrested.
