A man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of killing his wife, who Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies found dead on the floor of a living room, authorities said.
Deputies found the woman, Courtney Arvizu, 25, on the floor of a home in the 22800 block of 9th Street in Sant Clarita. Unresponsive, she "appeared to have injuries consistent with blunt force trauma," according to a sheriff's department news release.
Deputies arrested her husband, Robert Arvizu, 48, on suspicion of slaying the woman.
