Adult, Student Injured in School Bus Crash

A school bus crashed in the San Fernando Valley. At least one person could be seen taken into an ambulance following the crash on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013.

One adult and a student suffered minor injuries when a station wagon and school bus collided Thursday in the west San Fernando Valley.

The crash was reported at 7:48 a.m. in the 7000 block of Corbin Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The bus was carrying about a dozen students, and all had gotten out of the vehicle after the wreck, officials said.

A student and an adult attendant were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, officials said.

About six children could be seen sitting on a lawn near the crash site surrounded by firefighters. They did not appear to be injured.

Students began to enter another bus at 8:20 a.m.
