A Seal Beach gas station employee was arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching a female customer, police said Wednesday.
The customer contacted police Tuesday claiming that the employee, identified as 46-year-old Adel Rezkallaa of Torrance, had touched her in a sexual manner, the Seal Beach Police Department said.
The customer said she had gone to the gas station to buy fuel when the alleged crime occurred.
Rezkallaa was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor sexual battery and was taken to Orange County jail, officers said.
Police are asking anyone who thinks they also may have been victimized to come forward. Anyone with information was asked to call Detective Samantha Mathias at 562-799-4100 ext. 1108.
