Two men were shot to death Saturday in La Puente and sheriff's detectives were searching for the shooter.
The double homicide was reported about 8:15 p.m. in the 18800 block of Elizondo Street, according to Deputy Kelvin Moody.
"I heard like fireworks ... like 20 shots," resident Jose Gonzalez said.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, Moody said. Their names were withheld pending notification of family.
