We love it when our citizen journalists send us pictures. And we also love it when people vote.

So we've decided to start an Instagram campaign to help get people in the voting spirit.

After voting, just snap a picture of yourself (OK, or your kids) showing off your "I Voted" sticker, or the stub from your mail-in ballot.

Post it on Instagram with the hashtag #socalvotes, and we'll do the rest. (Instagram is a mobile-only application, so you have to actually download an app for it and use it from a mobile device.)

We'll show the best pictures on air, and make a gallery on NBCLA.com.
