Sherman Oaks Homeowner Says Thieves Stole Jewelry, Electronics During Open House

"You feel violated," the homeowner said.

A Sherman Oaks family said they are "in shock" after thieves infiltrated their home and stole more than $100,000 worth of jewelry and electronics by sneaking in during an open house on Sunday.

A couple distracted an open house agent while two men, seen in surveillance video, stole the high value items from the home that was up for sale.

"You feel violated," the homeowner, who asked not to be identified, said.

Surveillance video shows one of the men go upstairs and head straight for the master bedroom.

The men leave several minutes later with valuables and keepsakes given from husband to wife.

The other man took a camera from the family's home office.

"It's not so much the material stuff as much as it is a hard time. My wife had a hard time sleeping last night just because of the fact that somebody went through our stuff," the homeowner said.

The homeowners hope that someone knows the men and turns them into authorities.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident.
