Gunfire broke out in front of a San Pedro Starbucks Thursday evening, police said.
LAPD officers responded to a shooting at Fifth and Gaffey streets shortly after 6 p.m. A spokesperson for the department said two people may have been struck by the gunfire.
A Starbucks employee said nothing happened inside the coffee shop.
