Shootout in the Streets During Attempted Robbery

Gunfire erupted in the streets of the Westlake District on Thursday as police took on suspects who tried to rob a check-cashing business.
 
The dangerous confrontation took place in the 2900 block of Beverly Boulevard, west of downtown Los Angeles. Some two dozen patrol cars were sent to the area.
 
Police were able to arrest two suspects, and they are still searching for one more. Investigators cautioned that he might be armed.Several blocks were sealed off as police aided by a dog and a helicopter search an area along Beverly Boulevard.

Remarkably no one was hurt during the shootout.
