Power has been restored to some 1,300 customers who were without electricity on Thursday night in the Silver Lake area, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

The first fall storm of the season appeared to damage a power pole, cutting electricity to residents between Riverside Drive and Rowena Avenue, which run parallel to the Golden State (5) Freeway, officials said.

Electricity was restored shortly after 8 p.m.
