Police are seeking the public's help in identifying burglars who have committed a series of recent residential heists in the Indian Hills neighborhood of Simi Valley, officials said.

Three burglaries have been reported within the past week, Simi Valley police said. Officials said in two of the cases, the thieves entered the homes through the rear sliding door.

The victims were at home during the burglaries and some were able to give a description of the subjects' vehicle. The car, parked nearby, was described as possibly a dark colored Nissan sedan.

During the third burglary, two subjects matching the description of those in the first incident were seen entering the backyard of another residence in the area, authorities said.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to call investigators at 805-583-6959.
