Six people were injured in a car accident involving five vehicles Thursday afternoon in South Los Angeles.
Firefighers and ambulance responded to a call reporting the accident at about 2:45 p.m. in the 1800 block of 82nd Street near Western Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department.
Four of the injured were transported by ambulance to the hospital with one person in serious condition, and three in fair condition. Two of the injured declined transportation to the hospital. The condition of the two who declined transportation is unknown.
The accident is under investigation.
