Soldier From Orange County Killed in Afghanistan War

A 23-year-old soldier from Cypress was killed in  Afghanistan, Department of Defense officials said Monday.

  Sgt. Daniel Lim was killed by a roadside bomb while riding in a military  vehicle in Qalat, Afghanistan, Saturday.
 
The improvised explosive device also killed Staff Sgt. Conrad A. Mora,  24, of San Diego, Spc. Joseph A. Bauer, 27, of Cincinnati, and Private First  Class Andrew L. Hand, 25, of Enterprise, Ala., according to the Department of  Defense.
 
The four were assigned to the 5th Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery  Regiment, 17th Fires Brigade.
