A pursuit that extended from Orange County to South Los Angeles turned into a manhunt Thursday in the Watts area.
The pursuit involving Orange County Sheriff's deputies and Long Beach police was in the Long Beach area at about 12:30 p.m. Details regarding what led to the pursuit were not immediately available.
The driver then headed northbound on the 405 Freeway into the Watts area.
At least two occupants exited the vehicle in the Watts area. Aerial video showed the men running through the Jordan Downs Housing Project, a 700-unit apartment complex.
Deputies tackled one of the men behind a building. It was not immediately clear whether the second person remained on the run.
