A driver and two passengers in a stolen SUV rushed into a Food 4 Less store on Monday in an attempt to escape law enforcement officers after a pursuit.
Authorities were pursuing the vehicle from North Hollywood to Pacoima, where the pursuit ended in the store near Van Nuys Boulevard and Glenoaks Boulevard.
Two women and a man from the vehicle ran inside the store, where officials ran after them with their guns drawn.
Patrons and employees of the store ran out.
By 11:02 p.m., all three people were in custody.
