Students Recant Sex Accusations Against School Employee: Attorney

The woman was charged with having sexual contact with a 16-year-old and 17-year-old.

Two students who accused a San Bernardino high school employee of having sex with them while minors have recanted their claims, according to the woman’s attorney.

Amy Corinne Bramlett, 46, was arrested in September after the two students, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, came forward during an investigation.

Bramlett was placed on leave from her job as a program specialist at Indian Springs High School in September. She was arrested and was initially held in lieu of $1 million bail, which was later lowered to $100,000.

She is now free on bail.

The two accusers have since recanted their allegations in signed statements taken by an investigator working for Bramlett’s attorney, Michael Scafiddi, he told NBC4.

"I hope the DA’s office will drop this case," Scafiddi said.

Bramlett is slated to appear in court Dec. 15 for a status hearing on the case.
