“Suge” Knight Charged With Making Terrorist Threats: DA

Marion "Suge" Knight, the rap impresario charged with murder in the vehicular death of a Compton man, has been charged with one count of making terrorist treats in an unrelated robbery case from 2014.

The new charge was disclosed Wednesday in a court hearing related to a theft of a camera from a photographer outside a Beverly Hills music studio, Los Angeles District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison said.

The camera theft occurred just days after Knight, 49, was released from the hospital after being shot multiple times at a private party for Chris Brown at 10ak, a nightclub in West Hollywood.

Prosecutors also alleged that the felonies were committed while Knight was out on bail in a pending case.

Knight, the co-founder of Death Row Records, is also facing charges of murder and attempted murder, as well as two counts of hit-and-run, in connection with an altercation that killed Terry Carter and injured actor Cle "Bone" Sloan. If Knight is convicted of all charges in the murder case, he could receive a maximum sentence of 50 years to life in state prison under California's three-strikes law.
