Worker Hospitalized After Sun Valley Business Fire

    A worker was hospitalized after suffering from smoke exposure Thursday during a fire at a commercial building in Sun Valley.

    The building was identified as Sugar Foods Corp., a food products company located at 9500 El Dorado Ave. in the San Fernando Valley community about 25 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. More than 100 firefighters responded to the sprawling structure.

    Several firefighters appeared to be attacking the fire from the roof of the building.

    Details regarding the victim's condition were not available, but the effects of the smoke are not considered life-threatening, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
