Suspect in Armed Robbery of Century City Rolex Store Arrested

Police still looking for two additional suspects in August mall robbery

A suspect has been arrested in connection to a robbery of a Rolex store in a Century City mall.

Los Angeles Police Department detectives arrested Dominic Calloway, 26, in connection with the Aug. 24 robbery of a Rolex store in the Century City Westfield Mall, police said.

Calloway was arrested Wednesday morning at his home in South LA without incident, according to the LAPD.

The robbery occurred before noon, when two men wearing ski masks and armed with rifles entered the jewelry store, police said.

One of them fired a rifle, hitting a glass display wall. Both men directed those inside to lay on the floor.

One ran to the display case and look several expensive watches.

The men fled down an escalator to where a stolen gray Toyota Camry with a getaway driver, waited in the parking lot, according to LAPD.

Police described the first suspect as a black man who appeared to be 30 to 40 years old, 5 foot 10 and around 180 pounds.

There was no description of the third suspect.
