A suspicious package shut down a stretch of Studio City on Thursday, police said.
Police were investigating a suitcase or bag chained to a bench near Ventura and Laurel Canyon boulevards in Studio City, said LAPD Officer Drake Madison.
The immediate area was blocked off to pedestrian and auto traffic. Police received the call about 7:40 p.m., Madison said.
