Teenagers Shot in at Pasadena Birthday Party

Two teenagers are recovering from gunshot wounds after a gunman opened fire Thursday at a birthday party in a Pasadena residential neighborhood.

The Pasadena Police Department responded to a call of a shooting just after 8:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Summit Avenue.

A man walked up to the house and opened fire on several people, leaving a 19-year-old victim in critical but stable condition after striking him several times. Bullets also grazed a 16-year-old girl, leaving her with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot, according to police.

Detectives are investigating the scene. A detailed description on the gunman was not immediately available.
