A calm and quiet 14-year-old girl who called 911 from a bedroom closet helped Orange County sheriff's deputies nab two burglars who broke into her home, officials said Monday.
The teen was inside her house when two boys came inside through "several doors and windows" on July 21, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
"I think someone is in," the girl can be heard saying in the 911 call. "I'm hearing...doors and windows...I'm in a closet"
The dispatcher tells the girl that deputies are outside looking around her house.
"The police are outside?...If you go down the hall, the second door to the left...I'm just kind of scared to be honest," the teen said.
"One of the deputies is walking around your house trying to find a way to get in so he can get you out," the dispatcher responded.
"Should I go out?" she asks while she can be heard crying.

The dispatcher can be heard telling the girl a group of deputies and a police K-9 were on their way to get her.
"...Ok they're taking me outside. Should I hang up? Ok, thank you."
When deputies arrived, the burglars ran out the back door and jumped fences through the neighborhood, officials said.
Later on the 911 recording, a neighbor reports two men running onto her property.
Police caught the two boys and arrested them in connection with residential burglary, authorities said. They were booked into Orange County Juvenile Hall.
Officials said the boys may have committed other thefts and burglaries in the area.
