"The Coldest Winter I Ever Spent was a Summer" in Los Angeles

The National Weather Service issued an advisory Wednesday night that a "record low" overnight temperature of 58 was recorded at Los Angeles International Airport.

The Weather Service based in Oxnard, California coined the low temperature a "record event report."
 
The overnight low temperature of 58 degrees "ties the old record of 58 set in 1951.

The high today at LAX was 67 degrees.
